The research and development team led by the Goji Engineering and Technology Research Center at the China Ningxia Academy of Agriculture Sciences has successfully developed 10 large-scale, intelligent, and automated Goji planting machines through field experiments and summarization. The key production equipment covers various aspects of Goji cultivation in China, including seeding, fertilizing, weeding, and pest control, achieving a high level of integration between agricultural machinery and agricultural production. According to Cao Youlong, the director of the center, the first-phase achievements of the research and development team have applied for seven national invention patents and over ten utility model patents. Field experiments have shown that the development and application of the Goji specialized machinery series have greatly improved the mechanization level of Goji production, increasing field operation efficiency by 30% to 50%. In the future, they will collaborate with domestic and international research and development teams to focus on developing specialized machinery for automatic harvesting of Goji fruits, Goji pruning, Goji seedling preparation, and Goji planting, aiming to cover the entire process of Goji production with specialized machinery.
