In order to speed up the development of Changxing hydrogen energy industry, the Yangtze River Delta Hydrogen Energy Industry Summit Forum and the National Science and Technology Workers' Day Talent and Technology Activity Week, sponsored by Zhejiang Energy Research Association, jointly organized by Changxing County Talent Office, Association for Science and Technology, Science and Technology Bureau and Zhejiang Zheneng Smart Energy Science and Technology Industrial Park, were recently held in Changxing, Huzhou.

Gao Xiang, academician of China Academy of Engineering, dean of Energy Engineering College of Zhejiang University, director of Baima Lake Laboratory, Andrei Ivanovich Rudez Guoyi, academician of Russian Academy of Sciences and president of Peter the Great University of Technology in St. Petersburg, delivered speeches respectively. Academician Rong Yichao, a foreign academician of the Russian Academy of Engineering and president of the Yangtze River Delta Military-civilian Collaborative Innovation Institute in Tsinghua, Zhejiang Province, gave a keynote speech on "Green hydrogen travel-carbon reduction practice and industrialization thinking of lightweight hydrogen energy transportation". Shi Yiting, secretary of Changxing County Party Committee, announced the launch. Gao Shenghua, director of the Standing Committee of County People's Congress, gave a welcome speech.

At the event site, Lu Weijie, secretary of the Party Committee of Meishan Town, Fan Haidong, executive deputy general manager and deputy director of Baima Lake Laboratory, representatives of Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen) and Dr. Dong Zhen, chairman of Suzhou SeeEx Technology, jointly unveiled the Changxing Hydrogen Energy Base of Baima Lake Laboratory and the Joint Technology Research Center of Suzhou SeeEx Technology of Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen).

During the event, the guests went to Zhejiang Zheneng Smart Energy Science and Technology Industrial Park, Huzhou Production and Manufacturing Center and other enterprises to visit and inspect, and experienced a variety of hydrogen energy products on the spot. In April, 2022, Traceback Technology Manufacturing Center officially settled in Zhejiang Neng Smart Energy Science and Technology Industrial Park.

Dr. Dong Zhen, Chairman of SEEEX TECH （Suzhou）Co., Ltd., Xu Zhiying, Deputy Secretary-General of Zhejiang Energy Research Association, Gao Mingxia, Professor of Zhejiang University, Fan Qinglai, Chairman of Zhejiang Smart Energy Science and Technology Industrial Park Company, Wang Ximing, researcher of Baima Lake Laboratory, Zheng Xianling, strategic consultant of CIMC President, and relevant business leaders were invited to attend the seminar on hydrogen energy industry in the Yangtze River Delta held in the afternoon, and Dr. Dong Zhen was the chair of the meeting.

At the seminar, the participating guests conducted in-depth and enthusiastic discussions on the cooperative development of the hydrogen energy industry chain, the multi-scenario application of hydrogen energy, the infrastructure construction of hydrogen refueling stations and the direction of industrial policy support, and made suggestions for the development of Changxing's hydrogen energy industry.

Deputy Secretary-General Xu Zhiying said that regional cooperation is very important in promoting the development of hydrogen energy industry, and Changxing should strengthen close cooperation with Zhejiang Province and the Yangtze River Delta; The Ministry of Communications is accelerating the greening of inland river ships, and hydrogen-powered ships will usher in a good development opportunity. Professor Gao Mingxia said that Zhejiang University has a good research foundation related to materials and structure, and enterprises should enter colleges and universities more and strengthen the combination of production and learning. Wang Ximing, a researcher, said that Changxing Hydrogen Energy Base of Baima Lake Laboratory will build a large-scale hydrogen energy comprehensive experimental research platform integrating hydrogen energy research and testing, equipment research and development testing, scientific and technological achievements incubation, external public service and other functions, and will strengthen cooperation with industrial chain enterprises in the future to jointly promote the development of Changxing hydrogen energy. Zheng Xianling said that in 2019, hydrogen energy was written into the "Government Work Report" for the first time, and hydrogen energy was incorporated into China's energy system. In 2022, China issued the "Medium and Long-term Plan for the Development of Hydrogen Energy Industry (2021-2035)", which clarified the energy attributes of hydrogen. Energy and vehicle companies are entering the market one after another, which will accelerate the closed loop of hydrogen energy industry, Japan, South Korea, Germany and urgent adjustments.

Finally, the participants reached a consensus, which will further strengthen the industrial chain cooperation and resource sharing, promote Changxing to build a hydrogen energy equipment industry cluster, and help the development of Changxing's hydrogen energy industry.
